Well, I did nothing. I was trying to replace my cooling fan. I got the intake hose off, the fan shroud off, the serpentine belt off and the fan pulley off. Then I tried to take the fan clutch off, and it was on there too tight to keep trying at it at 11pm. So I put everything back. I got disgustingly dirty for nothing. I’ll try again on Wednesday when Im off work again.
Ive been up since 4:30am. Its now 12:30. I have work 8-1 tomorrow and class 6-10. Tomorrow is gonna be a long day.

It is at these times when you realize 1) sleep is beautiful and 2) sleep is a weapon.
Enjoy it. At least as much as possible.

That situation sucks—so frustrating. But it's very cool that you're doing it yourself.

I learned early on that tackling repairs on a daily driver in the evenings is a no-go unless it is an emergency or I know exactly what I’m getting into.

I painted my rockers after work last night. No regrets! But then I had a pretty good idea of what needed doing.

Were you whacking the wrench the wrong direction? Sometimes fan clutches have left hand threads...

Possibly, I was just too tired to feel comfortable continuing
